Since I was a kid, I've wanted to understand how things work under the hood. In 7th grade, I stumbled upon a YouTube programming tutorial. That was the first time I tried programming. Since then, I've learned many things step by step. One thing I've realized about myself is that I learn best by trying things on my own rather than just following tutorials.

On the academic side, I studied at Sri Sumangala College, Panadura until my O/Ls, and then attended Mahanama College, Colombo for my A/Ls. I was selected to the University of Colombo School of Computing to study Computer Science.

Professionally, I've been doing freelance work since 2020, starting with designing simple websites and gradually improving my skills. After my A/Ls, at the beginning of this year, I started working at a company called Softsora as a Software Engineering Intern.

I love being part of communities as well. At Sri Sumangala College, I was the Technical Head of the Media Unit. At Mahanama College, I served as the President of the ICT Society. Even after leaving school, I joined the Rotaract Club of Panadura, where I'm currently the Digital Services Director. One thing I always keep in mind is, "Never let an opportunity go away."
